Description
Our handwoven Mercato bags are modeled after classic straw market totes and while they’re usually cotton, this one’s made of luxe leather. It’s also a little smaller than the others. Each one is handmade in Italy all in one piece — including the handles! — using an intertwined weaving technique that has been passed down through generations. While the sides are unlined and airy, there’s a sturdy leather bottom and a snap closure at the top to keep everything secure inside.
