In the early years, our employees were known for going sockless, so we recognize that there are some jokes to be made about SM-branded socks. These, though, are fantastic. Each pair is expertly made in Portugal with 200-needle construction and preshrunk to maintain shape even after repeated washes. Merino wool is famously great at regulating temperature, which makes them suitable for nearly any climate, nearly any time of year — the yarn for these comes from a super-renowned Italian spinning mill that’s over 100 years old, and it’s double-plied for maximal strength and minimal torquing. Think hardworking enough for everyday wear, but special enough to feel like a small luxury. Like we said… fantastic.
