Description
This is a comically oversized soap scented with pomegranate and shaped like the Tai fish… a symbol of good fortune in Japanese culture. It’s made by one of Japan’s oldest soapmakers, Tamanohada, who have been using old-school wooden kashigata molds to make each piece for over 120 years. It comes in a decorative box, so it makes a nice host or housewarming gift… but it’ll also look pretty great hanging in your shower.
