Trudon is the world’s oldest candlemaker still in business. From the champagne-bucket-inspired glass housing to the gilded plaque on the front, and even the deo regique laborant motto (“[the bees] work for God and the King”), everything about the brand is luxurious. Spiritus Sancti is — you may have guessed by the name — church-incense-inspired, with a heart of lily of the valley and earthy labdanum and benzoin resins in the base. A really special gift.
