For a lot of people, Diptyque makes the quintessential “status candle” — their entire product line is storied, French, and beautifully packaged. Of course, it all smells pretty fantastic, too. Do Son is a tuberose scent that is both heady and delicate, inspired by one of the founder’s childhood summers spent on the beaches of Hạ Long Bay. And while a lot of eaux de parfum are just more concentrated versions of eaux de toilette, Diptyque actually tweaks the balance of the notes to give the scent a richer, more long-lasting dimension. This means the two formulations work well in tandem… a lot of us like the EDT for daytime and the EDP for evening, but fly your own kite!
