Description
For a lot of people, Diptyque makes the quintessential “status candle” — their entire product line is storied, French, and beautifully packaged. Of course, it all smells pretty fantastic, too. Philosykos is the scent of Mediterranean fig trees, woody and green and softly fruity. (It’s also the the perfume equivalent of the company’s cult-favorite Figuier candle.) And while a lot of eaux de toilette are just less-concentrated versions of eaux de parfum, Diptyque actually tweaks the balance of the notes to give the scent a crisper, lighter dimension. This means the two formulations work well in tandem… a lot of us like the EDT for daytime and the EDP for evening, but fly your own kite!
